1st (Paper) Wedding Anniversary Gift Pencil Portrait

As my second post on my new blog, I thought I’d share with you a pencil portrait that I recently completed of a bride and groom on their wedding day. The portrait was a 1st Wedding Anniversary gift (Paper Wedding Anniversary gift) from the husband to his lovely wife to celebrate one year of marriage together.

The portrait original was 16″ x 12″ (~A3) and included a romantic message to his wife which I wrote in an artistic script and added in the top left corner (I’ve removed the message for their privacy). I think they make a really lovely couple and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish them the best of luck in their future together.
